That aside, the comparison is very stupid because 1996 Kanto also had teleporting technology and Bill's Storage System which can de-materialize Pokemon and store them in a PC as data, something 1800s Hisui technology isn't able to do.
I suppose people who think they fucked up their own lore with this specifically are the kind of dudes who whine about the games not being "mature" and then cannot help but smash A because even a "kiddy game" is too complicated for their poor attention span.
