Pretty much, Albaz is kinda bad right now, I said kinda because Titaniklad still has value considering DL's ladder is dominated by Brick-Eyes Aryan Dragon and a few other decks that run high level monsters, I'm hoping we get more fusions to abuse Albaz with, plus I've been labbing a few combos with Rokkets popping Booster Dragon to summon Albaz during my opponent's turn.
I am really excited over the prospect of rulers coming back, D-Link getting a ton of really good dragon extenders available again thanks to the big lads is really good.

The inconsistent outline styles between Alama and Estella's sprites really bugs me here. There's cases of this elsewhere through the game but most of the clashing characters don't have as many similar features like hair color to draw attention to it quite the same way as this scene.

No bag items in battle and no whiteouts so far; this game more than gives you everything you need to deal with its fights when not on a dualtype and most of the fight design encourages use of Lucario in some way. The AI clicks random buttons with no rhyme or reason behind them. It's definitely not input reading as far as I can tell and this electric team of statblocks and coverage moves is more effective than some of the most dilatingly devious AI+field combinations in trannymods of rebornlikes. This shouldn't be anywhere nearly as effective as it is but ultimately it creates a fight that's very difficult to outplay or 'script' your way through because the AI does random shit each time with a few caveats.

With my team, if they pick Bug Buzz, I just die because even the NVE Bug Buzz muscles through Gastrodon after screens drop >Luxray clicks random buttons at all times, often doing asinine shit like using Throat Chop or Ice Fang against Mawile. The only thing it will not do is use Wild Charge against Gastrodon for obvious reasons. >I initially tried Gyarados as my Intimidate bot to try and bait wild charges to give Gastrodon more free switchins. It doesn't make any difference; the AI will click random buttons all the same despite the x4 electric weakness and Mawile gets 1 extra switchin on average with good chip damage rolls due to typing+slightly better physical bulk. >Leveling up Bronzong and Blissey midfight is part of the strat; sometimes you need a second light screen setter and metal sound will force progross against Electross who will sometimes opt to just click Giga Drain against Bronzong to waste screen turns My team was not prepared for this in the slightest and I fell back on the gayest wincon conceivable with the mons I had boxed unless I wanted to go grinding a specific counterteam, which I wasn't interested in doing.

Sometimes it just clicks the right buttons to win the whole fight by itself, other times it sits around and lets you chip it to death. I could not for the life of me find a consistent way to deal with it as it seemed to reliably find some way to muscle past any check I thought I found for it.
