I never played the 3DS generation, but I recently bought a physical copy of pokemon Y because the pokedex doesn't look bad and I could come up with a team of 6. Bought physical because playing pokemon on a computer is extremely uncomfy.
What's the best handheld to play this on? From what I could gather the XL consoles are better because of the big screen. I also understood that the pokemon games of that generation don't make great use of the 3D feature so they were perfectly fine on 2DS. So I figured I'd get a 2DS XL but they're not that easy to find, there's a lot more 3DS XL available and in fact they're sometimes even cheaper too. So now I'm not too sure. There's also the 2DS that's cheap as hell but looks like one of those bootleg consoles.
What would you recommend as the best console to play pokemon X/Y on?
