okay, in a league match obviously they only let me take 6 and I'm disqualified if I tried to use more. but outside of that context, it's my pokemon and my pokeball, why am I arbitrarily not able to release it when its in close proximity to 6 others?? what if I'm defending myself from a horde of wild mons, trying to put out a forest fire with water types, trying to dig tunnel with ground or rock types? What if I'm just training my dudes all together at once? Why not?
If it's to prevent some trainers from having more mons than others, well that's already a thing? I can overwhelm somebody that has 1 NFE pet shitmon easily with 1 strong mon, as easily as I could overwhelm a team of 6 ace trainer with 10 fellas. But of course if I'm an evil asshole I'm gonna be an evil asshole either way.
