No way, look at Sneasler, he has man in furrysuit syndrome too if asked to create a bipedal Pokemon, which at this point seems to be a specific design request for starters. Even Skeledirge tries to stand up when singing.

Best three new designs of the generation. Flutter Mane is perhaps too mild a change overall, but that's because Misdreavus is nigh perfect which Ariga clearly knows since it is his favorite pokemon of all time.

So quite a few now that I list them but idk something about his designs is kinda missing to me. The ones I listed I like but his designs feel a bit too "modern Japanese corporate mascot" to me, if that makes sense. I can see that in most of his designs, it's just some of them it's not so noticeable so I like them. But the ones where that's strongest then I tend to dislike them
