First time playing gen 2 and the series, and I'm completely blind.
Notes
>starter is cyndaquil but its boxed (need the HM slave which is annoying)
>would prefer to use a grass type but didn't want to reuse bellsprout as that was in my RBY team, and hoppip seemed shit
>was using Quagsire before I got Lapras but Lapras seems better in every way (Body Slam > Slam, can use Sing, and probably learns an Ice move like in RBY)
>Noctowl seems trash but again, I dont want to reuse Fearow and Dodrio as I used those in gen 1
>HMs are more annoying than in the 1st game
>in-game time of day shit makes me feel like I'm missing out on content for playing at the wrong time, I dont know how they thought this was a good idea
>why the fuck did they introduce TMs which are HMs? Literally the worst of both worlds. So far there's been Rock Smash, Headbutt (I taught both of these to Quilava even though there shit), and Sweet Scent
>Suudowodo has horrible special attack but I taught it all the elemental punch TMs because I figure the type coverage is worth it
>came across Heracross on a random tree, but I heard an anon here say it's shit/doesn't learn a bug type move
>also caught Scyther but it didn't have a Bug type move and I didn't want to use the Fury Cutter TM so I boxed it
>no idea how to evolve Eevee, I haven't found any stones yet when they were buyable in genwun
>already burnt out on these games because there so slow. Fighting random filler trainers with shitty teams, surfing, boring puzzles, sifting through menus, changing boxes, and so on. I understand why most people just use emulator at 6x speed.
