Hi, leaker-san here, ready to give you about what I know so far about Pokemon Legends A-Z based on screen grabs I got from my sources:
>The three starters that will be represented this gen are Chikorita, Tepig, Froakie. Each with their unique megas that vastly changes how each of them play competitively. The other 2 Kalos starters will also recieve Megas for clarification.
>Meganium will be a special attacker Grass/Fairy type, with Chlorophyll as it's Mega ability for example.
>New old Kalos Dubwool form, that turns into a Baphomet-like creature on evolution, Fire/Dark.
>Story takes place in ancient Kalos during the construction of Lumiose City, similar time period to Hisu so it'll mostly be old-timey.
>You're from a team that is essentially the ancient variant of Team Flare, tasked with expanding the city by going to various places, collecting materials, most of the areas are war-torn and isolative
>The leader of Team Torch is the great ancestor of Diathea
>Image of the top left are planned concepts for the death weapon used to end the war, the sub plot given from Arceus at the start of the game demands that you attempt to stop it at all cost. AZ is the antagonist or protagonist depending on which parts of the game you explored based on the NPC dialogue
>Majority of the PLA battle mechanics are back, not much is different besides the Megas.
>Held items are introduced but they're only a limited batch of both old and new items, and are craft dependent.
>Every old Mega is back, stones are found in a combination of main story campaigns regarding the dex and actual combing through the environment
>Megas will be the only Pokemons with abilities, which is the main incentive for using them in combat. >Plans to incorporate Megas into next gen are in the works, Tera will be absent in the next game.
