A few years ago I was trying to get a hold of a rare piece of music equipment that only really circulated japan in the 80s/90s. Costs about $6-700. Took me three tries to get one. First order never shipped, got a refund. Second order mailed me a Japanese language holographic chandelure card in a massive envelope, like 4x3 feet. Reported them for scam and got refunded. Finally got it on the third try. But now I associate chandelure with Japanese laziness and retardation

It has always been true that people preferred bipedal over quad, that's why Bulbasaur kids had the reputation of being the weirdo, even back in the 90s. It's just that now, the only ones who are still following Pokemon in their 30s despite the abysmal state of the franchise are the Bulbasaur weirdos, at least in the west.
