I loved obtaining him in crystal. I liked to have such a cool pokemon. He's one of my top pokemons. Cool Godzilla.

Tyranitar is a good example of what it means to be viably strong and yet versatile and yet not overbearing.

I use it in Gen 2 OU and have used it many different ways in Gen 3 OU, without which many teams wouldn't work.

Kaijuumons always have this inherent coolness and epicness to them. Catching and training one feels like taming a real monster to unleash upon your enemies, other pokemons might be cool in different ways but only kaijuumons feel like true BEASTS.

its a a Kaiju made of minerals, being able to cause sandstorms seems fitting. Sandstream was even its signature ability for a while so Game Freak must consider it important to its concept.

Thing is there was nothing about him and sandstorms when he was created. I think he would have been better off with another defensive ability

Pretty cool. Caught the (comparatively) early game larvitar in ultra sun and had fun with the guy. Was especially kino having him fight against the double battle tyranitar at the end of Mt. Lanakila.
