MMO addicts have the same problem, fact of the matter is it takes some profound fucking autism to just sinks tens of thousands of hours into fundamentally repetitive games and not get bored of them, no matter how much you love them. even the devs are clearly bored out of their minds of the same autistic safety blanket "8 gyms, linear routes, rival, professor, mom, and bad guy team" formula.
playing radically different games will help you appreciate what you liked about Pokémon in the first place again or maybe help you realize you just weren't into it anymore, both are good outcomes for you
