At least we got a more proper sheep with Wooloo/Dubwool, because even TPCi knew they screwup with Mareep's line by slapping some type of Dinosaur looking Giraffe thing at the end of it's line, usually when TPCi doesn't feel like they did justice for an animal-based Pokémon they redo it in a different generation for example Tauros/Bouffalant, you never seen they make another cow mon because Miltank is perfect.
Phoenixs is considered the female equivalent to dragons, while Fenghuang are hermaphrodites as it was two separate bird creatures of a male feng and a female huang becoming one as symbol of Marriage/Bonding between Husband and Wife similar to Hermes's and Aphrodite's unification (This is where the word Hermaphrodite come from), then later in the Qin Dynasty they started to femininize the Fenghuang and it eventually became the second Phoenix (Because they got confused on telling the Phoenix and Fenghuang apart, also Asians love replacing females with anything that isn't female).
