Where do you think GF will pick for the basis for Gen 10’s region? Going back to Japan would be nice, especially for the series to return to its roots for its 30th anniversary.

I'm guessing that it'll be the west coast of the United States. Masuda went there back when he was still working at Game Freak, so it's very likely that Game Freak staff went there to get a feel of the area like they did the France, Hawaii, and Spain.
I have my fingers crossed that they'll do another Kitakami type thing and make a new region based on southern France in a DLC.

Constant war between armed groups, checkpoints upon entering cities, survival mode well you have to scour and steal for food for you and your pokemon, evil team burning and raping villages, pokemon based off animals there (gorillas, elephants, monkeys, okapi, buffalos, civets, aardvarks, etc.)

They're bound to try Australia and New Zealand eventually. Italy as well. I doubt they'll ever make another region in the US.
