It's obviously a mixed attacker. Its unique coverage is its main selling point.
Its typing and defensive stats provide no real defensive utility outside of very particular potential switch-in opportunities. It only has enough bulk to take one strong non-supereffective hit potentially or a couple non-so.
So yes Blaziken is something of a slow frail mixed attacker even though it isn't as slow, frail, and weak as say Seviper. But then you have to look see at how Seviper has for example better coverage and a more valuable ability to compensate for lower stats.
