BW2 has a lot of post-game areas and gives you a free shiny, so it's memorable, it has a huge one in general. And of course, the absolutely UNforgettable Kanto in GSCHGSS.
Legendary hunt is just part of completing the dex.
Sky Pillar is accessible in RS after the Wailmer leave Lilycove. You have to go there in Emerald.
Gen 1 Kanto post game is Stadium.
Gen 6 post-game is soulless and barebones.
