All the remakes completely ignore content from the third versions. I think it is because of spite. It is a lot more noticeable in BDSP because of how much better Platinum is than DP.

all the other remakes added lots of little things on their own though. like, the fucking gen 3 remake has a bigger natdex than the gen 4 remake. the gen 2 remake has the sinnoh battle frontier, yet the sinnoh remake doesn't. it's such a fucking joke

I would personally put OR/AS above BD/SP because of all the stuff that was added, DexNav, mega evolutions, a bunch of new post-game areas. Yes, not having the Battle Frontier sucks, but I still think everything else that was added makes up for it.

I agree that HG/SS is the best remake and FR/LG is the worst though.
