They're linked to Area Zero of Paldea, specifically. It's not like the Ultra Beasts where they could technically just wormhole themselves anywhere.
Like if you're going to go through the effort of making all these designs, why not make them with longevity in mind?
Maybe this is their solution to the dex-cut controversy. Make new designs that, for *LoRe* reasons cannot re-appear elsewhere?
