>>56537708I like the additions but the mask should have stayed without the stoned look
>>56537711I like the monstrousness but somewhere in between would suffice
>>56537723If they really wanted to end up with a wrestler cat, they should've made Torracat have some traits of that instead of just being "Litten but bigger". It's too jarring. Again, some redesigns that are in between are pretty good.
>>56537744With these, Delphox was arguably made more functional. Bipedalism is the easy way out for all of these, and their redesigns can still do all of what the originals can do in most cases, it just requires non-human animation. Most animations look like human motion capture, even for shit like Charmander. Pokemon generally should animate more diversely. The only thing lost was Chesnaught's hand shield ability, which was pretty stupid anyway. Incineroar's belt spirals were pretty weird too and can now be replaced with the whole tiger-through-ring-of-fire thing that makes it look like a torracat evo instead of whatever it was trying to be, while still being able to wrestle in its own, not literal-human way (if they weren't lazy with creation of unique animation)
>>56537744Inteleon is a side grade for other reasons, and I've seen a redesign that BTFOs both of the while preserving the more Dino-like legs that make sense for a bipedal reptile.
That Calyrex is an improvement
That Incineroar is somewhat of an improvement in only one way but I've seen even better.
That Cinderace is a very slight improvement but I've seen better while preserving the more sensible overall leg structure of the redesign
That Baxcalibur is a downgrade for many reasons, I've seen MANY good redesigns of it that fix small flaws of the original, which frankly isn't really too flawed.
Both of those Tinkatons are hideous and there is no salvaging it.
