Outside of Melmetal and Corviknight, it was actually pretty damn consistent somehow, thanks to Scizor's AI being retarded and clicking jet punch in psychic terrain. There were a couple of low rolls on Dragapult/Sneedler, but I patched that up by putting a few EVs into Great Tusk's attack and I never really had to worry outside of crits
Croviknight likes clicking flip turn and not ko'ing Sharpedo, fucking everything up, or Draky drake or some shit like that (Dragon eeveelution's retarded move) which sets dragon type rocks and I just didn't want to see if the damage mattered come Melmetal kek

You've probably filled your slots within the first ~5 hours of the game and get nothing else, nor can you change them. You should really unlock more slots as you go through the game, it'd help ease the skill grinding monotony too.
-I personally think all the time/day based mons/items is really annoying, especially when I suddenly want something only to find out it's only in one place on Saturday and what do you know? it's Sunday haha.
-There's a lot of missable shit. There's a lot of good items that are locked to character affinity rewards, hell, you can lock yourself out of a shop early on if you fuck up. I feel like this is intended to entice the player to replay the game more, but I don't really like it personally.
-Battle week is still a fucking SLOG. No, I don't need to fight 35 bosses within a week and absolutely nothing else, game, please. At the very least, do something like, a day for gym leaders, a day for the e4, and a day for the champion adjacent faggots. 15 battles with a free day between every 5 is a lot better than fighting gym leader after gym leader for like an hour.
>Conclusion The game's definitely gotten better since I last played. And while there's still some issues that I'd like ironed out, I'll probably end up replaying sometime when the next version is released. Just, uh...not the insanity room, haha...

The game is built around riolu actually being useful when it pretty much just gets oneshot every fight which is kind of annoying but the game really isn't that difficult even with effectively a five and a half pokemon party

And here's another betamon I really like, beta Remoraid was pretty bleh, the gun design was really tacky, but beta Octillery is really cool, sadly it's not the only instance in the series of Gamefreak thinking of making a tankmon and just scrapping the idea entirely, Hydreigon was the other one, which they had the perfect opportunity to fully revitalize with Paradoxes but didn't.

So, there's a neat failsafe event to give the player an old amber after you beat the boss but couldn't get it immediately afterwards due to having a full inventory, which given how limited it is and how many items there are spread around this place is almost a given, but there's no cap, so you can essentially get infinite old ambers by interacting with the scientist at the entrance of the lost world.
