Fine for the first time but we have better designs and better dragons by now and it's almost as overused as Pikachu. I hate this piece of shit so much and it's not even its fault.

All the designs posted in this thread make sense but Volcarona stands out for being overrun with people who hate Unova designs but then saw other people liking Volcarona and going "h-hey wait guys I like this mon too!" Ultimate safe pick to fit in with the trends just like the people who love BW2 and hate BW1

I was never into Charizard. Looks awfully generic for a "dragon looking creature" and the super thin arms and neck look silly. Honestly not sure why it's so popular.

Imagine actually having Charizard as your favorite pokemon, because you really wanted a cool dragon in Gen 1, and instead got Dragonite.
