Double battles prevented us from getting an actual GBA-looking GUI. Instead we got plain shit just so two mons could fit on screen.

Left looks completely primitive, basically just a supped-up version of the Gameboy Color battle GUI, completely abstract with no sense of place
The final one has fucking floors which serve to ground the Pokémon in the battle arena, and having more than one on screen is far better than whatever aesthetic you think is better

That doesn't make any sense retard, a graphic interface won't stop working if there are an extra two mons on the screen. Even if it did, double battles are much better than having a menu with angles. The game doesn't change just because you can always see who in your team is afflicted with burn.
