On the right side of \the image, he's in his 'normal mode', where he's crawling around on all fours with his tail raised up; on the left, he's in 'battle mode', propping his tail up in front of him like a shield and clinging to the back of it, both simultaneously making him look like the Rosetta-Stone as well as mimicking the original fucked-up Missingno. sprite from the first games in the process.
>>56604781To add to this, the reason his eye (looks like he only has one in the pic, like the Unown) is on the bottom of his head is because he does the Mega Sableye thing where he apparently fights by keeping his Rosetta-stone tail upright and peeks out from behind it, which would let him look at the player without bending his head down, since he apparently doesn't have a neck.
