The design does have weird design cues. Its cape tail is pretty squirrely. Despite being in gen 7 it has no z-move, a trait shared with Zygarde and Magearna.
The thing is also super pushed for something that barely has a backstory. While you can argue thats just due to lucario clone its still pretty weird.
