The black giant (different from "the giants") is also the only instance of the beta lore mentioning Ia and Ea having another sibling, one very violent that destroying things to null, seems like the only Giratina-like thing in the lore

I love Palkia.
Its magenta pink color scheme has a unique charm not found in other legendary Pokemon. Its
unique appearance, reminiscent of Pegasus in its origin form, is also divine.
I especially like how the move animations in both legendary forms are cool.

Whats the verdict on Giratina with all the new lore that's surfaced? Is it the Titan at the beginning of existence? What is the relation to Dialga and Palkia? Is it their dead kids maybe?

For all we know, Arceus created Mew as a progenitor of modern Pokemon and Aus/Ia/Ea ≠ Arceus/Dialga/Palkia but true evolutions of their Mew Avatars

There are multiple giants in different versions of the story. Only one has the footnote of the giants not being pokemon, the one with the egg fragment giants.

One of the versions of the myth clearly has Palkia and Dialga having a black giant brother whose purpose was destruction, who gets slain for being too violent. Seems pretty clear that they had an early conception of Giratina there.
