>>56644758The stories in general feel like real-life mythology and it's possible that these were written as exercises and were never intended to be in the games in this form. But there's just something about the eye-gouging parts that take me aback, those parts just don't feel like I'm reading an actual myth with Pokemon names swapped in. Especially when dialogue is involved at the same time.
