You're forgetting the leaks only confirm TPC as Game Freak's bitches. And if Game Freak want to have the next rivals have a Typhlosion, a Rapidash and Lapras as Aces, TPC are gonna have to show them off, as that's what their entire existence is for.

They SELL it to Nintendo alright, get a fat stack off Ninty and develop the games with the yearly project budgets, yeah. But outside of getting access to the game to print retail copies, they don't actually own or have any influence on pokémon (that's why the Game Freak hacks were the only ones to spit up Pokémon source code. They're the rights-holders, not granddaddy N).
