In a way I support needing to complete the dex on your own to get special rewards, I did it myself.
On another way, this is incredibly funny because the people who buy Home are those who don't want to catch them all to begin with (I didn't buy it) so it feels like GF is spitting on the face Home players. Deserved for being dumb enough to pay for that garbage desu

thats the thing, even if you did complete it, if you didn't transfer every mon at every evolutionary stage, it doesn't count. you need to transferred the entire paldea, kitakami, and blueberry living dex to home or it doesnt count.

This number is inflated to all fuck, there's tons of overlap in the Kitakami and Blueberry dexes because they roughly had 100 mons already from Paldea in them on principle. It's closer to 600

This becomes a non-issue when you reprogram your consciousness to see through the game's clever deceptions and realize that you were literally crying over not having a customized pokemon model file that was modified by the pokemon company to create the illusion that this particular piece of data is worth everything in the world to you when in reality it's just the same in-game file with a few modifications being sent back to you, all to create the illusion of exclusivity and to manufacture pointless events to waste your time and farm you for your emotional energy that you generate from the hype of these so called "events". A few kilobytes of data, no matter how special the pokemon company says it is, means nothing to me.
