I don't remember the *full* list, but a lot of the evo items can be obtained before even surfing to Kanto for the E4. All of the evo stones can be obtained by a combination of PokéGear calls and Bug-Catching Contest, some can be thieved from wild mons (Magnemite for Metal Coat, Chinchou for DeepSea Tooth/Scale, for example) and some can be obtained from PokéWalker courses. Are those the most convenient sources? Fuck no, but it can be done.
