Sure, the game doesn't handhold but more like handcuffs you while you're getting from tourist trap to tourist trap (like the camera function I never ever used) and the intro is so fucking long. And if you want a female Popplio then BEG TO ALL THE GODS YOU KNOW.
But I like the characters, they had personality and actually were present in the world.
The story was good (it's Pokémon, so anything better than "more water, more land" is PEAK WRITTING) Lillie is still peak Pokémon waifu, no other bitches can compare.
The Pokédex of this gen is pure good.
I will always defend Ultrabeasts. They're weird and wrong and so "non-pokemon" and THAT'S THE WHOLE POINT I just hope to see more of them in some "Legends Necrozma" or something like that.
