Someone said that gen 10 and the current anime plot are also in the leaks. That wasn't the main reason. They figured that Nintendo/TPC would come after them with everything they had if the leaker dropped a playable build for ZA half a year before it releases officially. A shitload of people would play it and not buy the game because any hype would be dead and gone by next summer, even if they changed things or fixed bugs in the real game.

As things are now, the leaks seem to be generating renewed interest in the series. I've seen lots of people post recently saying they haven't played in years but want to try out the newer games. Nintendo/TPC will be less likely to assassinate the leaker if they see numbers go up.
