But do ont worry, with him you learn early that TMs are your friends. Bullet Shot is good early game, and Aerial Ace is great for coverage when you get Grovyle. Leaf Blade is overused, but is done for a reason: is his best move, and with his Speed, he will use it first 90% of the time.
When you get Sceptyle, I recommend this set:
>Leaf Blade>Pursuit (for coverage)>Aerial Ace>Dragon Claw>TorchicThe mid point. Fire may be a 50/50 in Hoenn, but when he becomes a Fighting type, you may as well stop playing because you just won the game. Double Kick is king, and Sky Uppercut will save you if you fight a Fly user.
