>>56709042If you aren't running things particularly weak to rock, stealth rock really doesn't matter all that much, particularly on bulky pokemon. Using Anon's example, presuming mono-poison, a lot of available poison types in gen 9 are actually pretty fucking tanky so stealth rock doesn't really fucking do much to them. Particularly with black sludge/leftovers/etc.
Even if you yourself aren't switching, your opponent endlessly switching out is a great way to make matches take fucking forever, particularly if, even if you do lay out stealthrock/spikes/whatever, they take one turn to drop something with rapid spin or whatever or snipe your hazard set up.
