Pokémon needs a return to form. Do you agree?

With the Palworks lawsuit PR fiasco, the Typhlosiongate leaks and Legends AZ being cancelled, it is time we just admit that Pokémon as a franchise has squandered every opportunity to change. Thus, just like other similar franchises with consolidated playerbase and proposal such as Call of Duty or FIFA, Pokémon should just return to what it does best: a simple RPG with a large character roster, a box legendary, a crime syndicate and a kid getting a starter Pokémon — preferrably one not associated with forced sex and pedophilia. Obviously, Masuda would be called back to direct this new game, 'in the form he did from Ruby & Saphire to BDSP", and preferrably perform a preemptive purge of the staff to avoid leakers.

This new game would run on the Let's Go Pikachu & Eevee engine and importing ILCA's GO models. Its big selling point would be that the national dex is back. It'd be a standard Pokémon adventure. Done, I've saved this franchise. No more bullshit, no more pretending people in GameFreak know how to code, no more gimmicks, just another region with a few added monsters to find and collect. 18 million copies guaranteed to sell.

Frankly, Pokémon doesn't need change and GameFreak can't do change. It is time to stop. FIFA is not a basketball game, and GameFreak doesn't need to insert open-world crap in it or complex animations.
