The reason there wasn't a Pokemon Pinball game for DS was because Metroid Prime Pinball had very low sales (and Mario Pinball Land before that sold okay but not great I think). If it had sold better the same dev would have made Pokemon Pinball.
So the Pokemon pinball series did die because of low sales, just not its own low sales.
Anyway, it's rumored that Stern pinball is going to make a physical Pokemon pinball machine. So that's cool.
