>>56713430I'd actually argue that The loss of Mareep and Girafarig, who are both extremely useful Pokemon to have in game (Mareep is one of the most useful Pokemon all game long, Girafarig as a dedicated anti-Morty mon) actually hurts Crystal enough to negate some of it's rather minor changes (It's not like you can't get Suicine in GS, and the graphic changes are pretty irrelevant) so it really comes down to whether you plan on playing the Battle Tower or not, which a lot of people won't, in fact probably less than would miss Ampharos.
