It’s baffling that Lickitung still needs to learn rollout in order to evolve into Lickylicky in the final game when the design doesn’t suggest any wheel theming.

It would be like if Onix needed to learn dragonbreath to evolve into Steelix. There’s no correlation

It's fantastic.

Problem is that fan games have absolutely no taste and will either put in ALL of the beta mons when some of them step on each other's toes, or have a weird nonsensical selection.

Pokemon is such a mess. Half of the beta Pokemon are straight up better than the finished products.
