>In Fire Red & Leaf Green you can access the Sevii Islands from Kanto.

This is the only canon interconnected world map from the mainline games, everything else is fanfic.

the Pokemon world is just an analog of the real world. anything else is a cope. the regions are all based on irl locations and the few regions that have been shown to be connected are connected in the same way they are irl. it stands to reason that the entire world map is roughly analogous to irl too.

This doesn't mean they have to be nearby. In SV you can go to Kitakami and Blueberry from Paldea which are explicitly stated to be far away.

Not true. The Isle of Armour and Crown Tundra are based on the Isle of Man and Scotland but they are on the opposite sides of Galar from where they are relative to real life England. The Isle of Armour is to the east instead of the west and the Crown Tundra is to the south instead of the north.

Galar is flipped upside down UK, that doesn't mean it's not right-side up on the world map after all Hoenn is sideways

If this was all in a single game, I think you either gotta put all your Pokémon in the PC and it gets locked until you defeat the champion. So it's like playing from scratch three times. Either that or just have everything scale with progress. Or it starts in Kanto and Johto & Hoenn are just difficult post game gyms with increasing in difficulty gym battles and catching pokemon.

Galar and Hoenn are both literally flipped/rotated, it's not just a local map thing. The Crown Tundra is canonically to the south.

Yup these are the only regions in the mainline game which you can travel to different regions therefore the only in game evidence of being an interconnected area. No other regions let the player enter different regions only Kanto/ Sevii, Johto, and Hoenn.

The only thing the game says is that Sevii is "far south" of Kanto. We don't know how far south or where they or Kanto are in relation to Hoenn. They don't need to be nearby for you to travel to them.

This map would make a cool ROM hack of it only included the first three gens as Pokémon + their modern evolutionary family chains. You could have all regional variants of Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn Pokémon retconned into Sevii Island regional variants. Like Galarian Zigzagoon is now Seviian Zigzagoon. Alolan Vulpix is now Seviian Vulpix, etc.

I can take a boat from London to New York or a train from Paris to Moscow, that doesn't mean they're connected. We know Kanto and Johto are connected because you can literally walk between them.

Jasmine appears in Sinnoh, coming from Johto. Looker also travels to four different regions, and there are probably others I'm forgetting. And Cynthia tells you that people traveled from Sinnoh to the Sinjoh Ruins, which you got to from Johto. This thread is cope.

The question of whether the landmasses are connected doesn't depend on whether the player character specifically can go between them. If someone went between them, they're connected.
We showed that the map was wrong because we don't know where Sevii islands is and you said "I actually just meant they're the only ones you can travel between". Then we showed that you can travel between others and now you're babbling nonsense. You're a freak.

Sevii Islands wouldn't feel pointless and would be dope to have alternate versions of Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn mons there. Would feel like an exotic island but the Pokemon still familiar enough.
