>>56731815Yep. In game during the Delta episode they literally explain that there's a Hoenn without mega evolution and a Hoenn with mega evolution (ORAS Hoenn). Legends ZA will be interesting because it will set the tone for how they treat megas going forward.
For every gimmick since megas they've specifically tied it to the region it comes from, implying it can't exist outside the region. I wonder if they'll retcon megas to be tied exclusively to Kalos as it's unique gimmick. I'm 50/50 on it, I'm not sure if they will. But a lot of anons have hope that they're going to bring megas back in the near future in gen 10. But I'm not so sure. Gimmicks aren't as special if you keep on bringing them back.
I say all of this because if they tie megas to Kalos then that'd mean if they revisit Hoenn, they'd be more likely to revisit the original Hoenn without mega evolution.
