However the pool of mons the tower generates from is low enough that you can reasonably predict what the moveset of the species you're looking at is by its GP/card combo, so you really only have to memorize a handful of super dangerous ones and how to beat them before you make it to the top. Attrition is more your enemy than anything until the midway point where each win has a chance(?) of dropping an ether.
The 100th guy looks like he could be a serious problem if his lead (Zapdos) wasn't so easy to set up on.
The guy at the end is indisputably harder than what I'm facing here, but the rest of the tower is subjected to huge variance in mon quality, even if their statlines/levels are higher. I'm not sure I'd call it easier or on par with what I'm fighting now, but I also wouldn't say it's definitely harder either when the real enemy in the tower is random variance from move effect procs and missing moves, if that makes sense.

You also need the proper image placeholders and other things to have it run as intended. ZScripts in the data folder is the debug variant, but as I said before, you'll want to use the Scripts version after doing what you want with debug because it's more stable. Besides Ogerpon the other big change is the Valkyreon thing I mentioned before as well as some minor moveset changes like giving Charizard Weather Ball for it's Y form. I also really don't like Intangiable as a mechanic either because it basically reduces the gameplay in bosses to slapping it with your STAB and healing periodically (if applicable). I get that there needed to be some sort of anti-cheese to keep the fights relevant, but I'd much prefer an ability or mechanics that weave other aspects of the game's systems into the fight, even if it makes their ability read like Reborn's Chess Field in how it works. I'll talk more about this come review time, but for now this is a perfect showcase of my experience with the bosses in this game so far.

Serperior is entirely shut down by Devouring Void and gaining the Dragon typing means it has an Outrage weakness etc whereas Berryphlosion can just mash Sheer Force boosted STAB with no problem. If the Fusions were less broken but the baseline of the bosses post-fusion were brought down to compensate, I think it'd go a long way to giving more options in how the player tackles it without outright having numbers overwhelm it nor getting utterly smashed by something they can't really engage with.
Incidentally the Disgaea series had a similar problem for a while and it took them 5 games to find a good solution (and then forgot it in the next 2 kek) and even those erred on the side of being too easy so that any kid who bought the game and didn't read anything could eventually push through.
I don't think this kind of boss design is inherently flawed to the core; I think the current implementation of it is just extremely poorly thought through by the dev.
