Gen 4 was the ultimate crapout of the series plot (and Gen 3 was already pushing it to an extent)

Do what I do, play only Gen 1-3 and their romhacks. If you want Gen 4 and up, just play their romhacks or fap to the porn

In PLA after you beat the Arceus battle Arceus tells you it'll grant you a fragment of itself to accompany you. So the Arceus you can catch and send to battle isn't actually God but an avatar of God granted to you as a reward for having proven your virtue.

Because Arceus the pokémon is merely a fragment of and avatar of Arceus, the Almighty, Creator of the pokémon universe. Arceus from the games is very different from Arceus from the leaks people joke about. Arceus the pokemon is an avatar made of flesh from the real entity. In PLA it appears behind the player in a second in a very spooky way like it just manifested from nothing without any portal or sound.
