>>56752301This, basically. Crystal/Emerald/Platinum all improved issues with the base game instead of just piling on more content on the end, so I'd prefer them to a DLC. But I'd prefer a DLC to something like USUM that doesn't fix any problems with the original content but still makes you play through it again, and I imagine any third versions in the current era would follow that design trend.
>>56752432There are DLC catridges for SV, but they're very difficult to find and only have DLC 1 on them (since they were manufactured before Christmas). DLC 2 still needs to be downloaded even if you have a DLC cart.
