>>56764211the regions geographic origins rarely have anything to do with the Pokemon in that region. they've only started theming more Pokemon that way in the last two or three generations, and even then it's still just a handful. if GF wanted to make an aardvark mon, they would make an aardvark mon. they don't need to go to Africa. it's not like we had to wait for an Africa region to get a giraffe or hippo or lion Pokemon.
