Gen 7 mythicals had it rough. They are irrelevant until GF releases the film, their one and only time to shine, but GF decided it's time to go for nostalgia shilling instead so they barely got screen time.
At least they are making amends now with Zeraora

Pre release there was a lot of speculation he was some sort of anti-Cosmog. IIRC the name Marshadow leaked well before the rest of the game and people assumed it was Mars+Shadow and not Martial+Shadow like it ended up being.
