Luckily, nobody
seemed to notice the pokemon heading towards them, so it landed somewhat close,
kicking up a substantial amount of sand when it reached the ground. Both women
shielded their faces from the mini-sandstorm as Gardevoir stood up to protect them if
need be, but was quickly taken out by the Flygon. It landed right behind the group and
stretched its mouth around the Gardevoir’s head and kept its body in place with its
small clawed hands. There was almost no fight to be had; the psychic type’s smaller and slender body slid down the dragon’s throat with ease. Flygon only needed four gulps to
send the wriggling bulge down to its stomach, which bulged outward with the new
inclusion. A small amount of psychic energy emanated from inside, but the guardian
Gardevoir was just too weak to even free itself from the large Flygon.
After what was only a quick minute of dealing with the pokemon, the still-annoyed
Flygon began to deal with the actual problem at hand. By now, Cynthia and Diantha had
recovered from the sand attack and turned to see what was happening. All they were
met with was a six and a half foot pokemon with a bulbous gut extending from its
middle. The Gardevoir’s struggles were faintly visible through the predator’s tough skin,
and upon noticing them, both women backed up a few steps.
“Oh, h-hi there !” Cynthia started, her voice shaking ever-so-slightly.
“How about you just spit our friend out of there? We won’t bother you again.” Diantha
added as the Sinnoh champion reached for a pokeball she had brought along.
The Flygon simply stared in response, already aware of what they were trying to do. It
lunged forwards at the black swimsuit-clad woman, which caused her to both whiff the
pokeball she had and land square in the dragon’s mouth. Its tongue leaped out of its
maw and wrapped around Cynthia’s upper body as Diantha watched in horror.
