>>56780606>the first game to get shoved out after Iwata died and have major performance issues on more than satisfactory hardware.SM is not the most consistent title, but it never gets as bad as Gen 6 can get. Granted, this is because they cut some major sources of lag like 3D and anything more than doubles. It still managed to run about as well with trainer models constantly on screen which is impressive.
>>56780739>Dungeon DesignTechnically XY has a few more well developed dungeons compared to SM, but neither of them have stellar map design in general so it's kind of a retard fight. I'll give it to XY out of pity.
>trainingSwarms are the best out of all of them, Super Training is hot garbage, SOS (which I mislabeled as swarms in my previous post) is a bit slow, and Pokepelago at least as an AFK option for it which is good for when you have to sleep.
>DexHonestly up for taste. I personally dislike XY's overly padded encounter tables but SM can get almost as bad. I do like the fact that SM can give certain patches of grass their own encounter table, rather than XY's more global per-type encounters. BW or RS are still my personal pick though.
>GraphicsXY has severe lag in battles and an ugly ass overworld style. SM has a more consistent overall style but still has performance issues despite everything. Point to SM personally, but I just think a good style can fix a lot.
>battle optionsSky battles are fucking worthless, inverse battles are wasted in XY, and the removal of triples and rotations in SM are to prevent the severe performance issues of XY. Trust me, I did triples in Battle Maison, it's almost as bad as Gen 4 Multis.
>focus on Kanto with its gimmicksFor Z-Moves it's a little out of wack for exclusive ones, but a ton of the Kanto ones are also event exclusive oddly enough. Megas are also severely skewed towards Kanto but without the benefit of everyone else using them. Regionals are excessive though for sure.
Basically, Yawnfag being Yawnfag.
