I personally dislike 'one size fits all' type solutions even when the bullshit is stacked this high, it does just get boring both to play and also after the "lol I'm using the most broken thing ever" catharsis wears off after a few fights. I do understand why you don't care to fight "fair" albeit.
Even still, while I do think Toxic Spikes + Leech Seed is definitely more on the cheesy end that I dislike to abuse it is also one of the few bullshit fights in this game I'd be able to pull it off kek

as it turns out the exp share was on the first level of the battle cave (gauntlet of several trainers, healed after every battle, floor 1 average level is 15 or so)
so I've been shuffling around my party like an idiot when I could've cleared this right as I got here after catching regirock
chances are it wouldn't have been very useful anyways with all the exp already being split between two mons, adding a third would just slow things down unless I needed to train up a hatched egg or something

>>56789163 I've given it some good thought and I think the biggest problem with the postgame is a lot of this boss design seems like it's really solved by either some sort of really degenerate setup sweeper, Trick Room, or exploiting what I presume to be oversights in the banlist (although it's hard to say since there's outright a quest encouraging you to sketch a bunch of OP moves) while heavily punishing (in either time to run the GP5 breeding circuit for very specific answers) or mechanically other generalist "honest" strategies. I think a big crux of the problem is how prolific Godlike is. Having it be the signature ability of a major story boss is fine. Having to build your teams around bosses with it that fling instant kill moves left and right warps the teambuilding process a lot. The type of pivot-heavy gameplay that, say, Clover creates is non-existent here because of both the extreme stat disparities in the boss statlines but also abilities that simplify a lot of fights into DPS races; it's very hard to meaningfully interact with a Godlike boss aside from chipping its health bar or finding some way to stop it from lowering your health bar(s) faster via screens/evasion/sneed sphere. Godlike reduces Pokemon's gameplay down to its most simplistic state which definitely can work for a single multi-phase curated experience like the WT fight, but when it's thrown around everywhere like this it, it not only devalues the experience of the WT fight in how generic the ability becomes but warps teambuilding and gameplay around it (for the worse I think).

All things considered I think he's one of the best designed bosses in the game, minus the Wonder Guard Phase 2 that exists just to cheese you if you either don't know about it ahead of time or are missing specific coverage.

Solution:
You only need to interact with the top 3 switches on the left side, I did it from the bottom up, not sure if the sequence matters. if you fucked with another switch, you can reset it, then go activate the left switches This would be infinitely more bearable by just making the encounter rate zero and allowing the player to cross to the other sides using the blockades, but the better solution would be just not making the map dogshit

>>56792741 thanks. yeah my 'solution' for solving it was to try and write down what each switch did, but because of the stupid fucking awkward map it was hard to tell what changed anything (i remember struggling to figure out how many barriers there even were because of how samey their placement is and no real landmarks around) and i kept frequently messing up and writing down the wrong thing, which made me start all over until i finally got it right

deshret kinda sucks, but it's pretty short. no grinding spots for endgame so I finally turned on debug so my team wouldn't be 10-15 levels under. literally just one audino trainer would've been nice
