I spent hours screwing around in this game mode with my sister. She cared more about the base furniture while I just liked digging up fossils and rare items. Really makes me wish Game Freak or at least Nintendo made digging up stuff a more relevant component in their current games.

Found the hidden bases underwhelming compared to Ruby and Sapphire. I liked them being in the world better than this whole other separate area.

Using the grottos to add in Pokemon variety in the remake was nice though. Made me spend more time down there than I ever did on the DS.

The only thing I didn't like was not being able to travel through it, even to a limited degree.
I still need to get the remakes, but that's one of the things I'm looking forward to the most.

Never touched it after the tutorial, just like contests, and seals, and secret bases, etc.. etc.. I know people enjoy those things but I don't. I stick to the main gameplay and usually avoid the girly features. There is plenty for me to do before I would want to touch any of the minor features.

You're goddamn right it was fun. I spent a whole month here doing nothing but planting Orbs and mining for items. Like >>56804088 says, infinite fossils and evolution items. I didn't look up all the treasures available so God knows what else I could've found.

There's unobtainable decos (IIRC a Magnezone Plush and some other stuff)

But no, because to make a decent base you need to get a Platinum Flag and that takes ages

And it had a great deal of other things in their place, what of it? Why do some people want every pokemon game to be a copy of every game that came before?
