That's it. The level curve complaint didn't come out of nowhere and has some merit to it, but its highly exaggerated.

Honestly my biggest problem with Johto’s pacing is the Rocket invasion interrupting you. It’s a slog of grunts with Lv 20 Zubat that’s just not fun. Give me a couple of tougher executive battles and let me move on.

I’d rather a leader have 2 good Pokemon than 1 like Jasmine. Even Pryce isn’t the strongest, but at least Dewgong and Mamoswine have defensive synergy.
