One thing I'd think would be cool to see in a future Pokemon game is to have 2 separate Pokemon that evolve into the same Pokemon. A reverse split evolution type of deal.
It would be pretty unique evolution line and also has gameplay applications with different movepools and different ways to obtain the same Pokemon.
