As in the Clefable that has no SpD to calc into its total stats, the numbers actually line up.

The issue is that nothing within the realm of what SM did would work either. This also goes for Delcatty as SM never "redistributed" stats which is what Delcatty would need on top of like 30 BST.
As Delcatty is essentially attempting a Spinda cosplay with its actual stats.
I'd argue both need some form of evo to be made good. Even with the most extreme scenarios you end up in pretty wack cases.
Like try to make either good with just lets say, +40 BST and any ability in the game. Can you even do it? The closest i can think of is +20 speed, +20 HP on ledian and replacing iron fist with parental bond.
This would still be a pretty awful mon just one with some use cases. Like double struggle bug. Or double air slash.
