Why can't Nintendo just buy Fakemon designs?
One aspect of the Leaks recently that interests me is the revelation that a Flying eeveelution was cut because it was identical to a Fakemon design.
Why doesn't Nintendo just offer to buy that design? I'm sure the random Deviantart artist or whoever made it would be thrilled to have their pokemon canonized, and so would many fans.
I think Nintendo outsourcing fakemon designs on occasion could be a good strategy. Thoughts?
